Cool tools for hot days

The sun is blowing sweaty from the sky - this is not only too much for you, but also your PC. With these tools, the calculator comes through the summer well.

When temperatures rise outside, it quickly gets too hot for your PC. While you're using ice-cold coke, vanilla ice, and a shower, your calculator needs other remedies for the heat. But before you resort to our tools, you should first take a look at the calculator. Do not forget: pull power cable before! First, make sure the air has enough room to circulate. Are the hard drives too close together? If yes, rebuild. Do countless cables hang over the fans? Tame the clutter with cable ties. Also make sure that the space between the housing and the wall is sufficient for the air discharge. Tip: Adding a new fan not only gives your CPU more air, but also slows down the volume.

In our gallery you will find clever tools that fight the heat in the PC. With Speedfan, for example, you not only have the current temperature of the CPU in view. You can also screw on the speed of the fan. In exchange for a higher noise level, the fan shovels warm air out faster. But because in many computers not the CPU, but the graphics card is the largest heat generator, you will also find in our gallery tools that keep the graphics card in mind - GPU-Z, for example. While the CPU and GPU can withstand slightly higher temperatures, or switch off automatically in an emergency, the hard disk carries a higher risk. Hard disks and excessive heat are not compatible - so make regular backups. In case of damage at least your data is not lost. Of course, you will also find the backup tool in our gallery.
